How do you progress exercises in your programming?
How do you know when strong is strong enough?
Do you order your exercises with purpose?
Exercise checklists answer these questions. Similar to the belt system in martial arts, exercise checklists show the path to mastering a particular exercise while clearly outlining what standards need to be met to move on (or get that next belt). When you use exercise checklists, you’ll know both WHY and HOW to progress your clients through the programming. Using exercise checklists guarantees consistency, quality control, and repeatable results; all of which are important to improving client and business outcomes, quality of life, longevity, performance, games or days missed due to injury, retention rate, return to play, and proficiency.

Hi, I’m Coach Brendon Rearick and...
I created this course because I saw a need in the fitness industry for systematically selecting exercises.
In martial arts, everyone begins as a white belt. To become a black belt, you lay a foundation and then build on that foundation, earning your belts along the way. It can take 5 years to earn a black belt!
In the fitness industry, we are way too quick to make everyone a black belt. It’s your first class? Welcome! Here’s a barbell, put it over your head. We did not check a single box to ensure that person has the ability to do so.
Exercise checklists create consistency, quality control, and repeatable results. All of which are important to improving client and business outcomes, quality of life, longevity, performance, games or days missed due to injury, retention rate, return to play, and proficiency; just to name a few.
After taking this course you will have a framework to create your own checklists, giving you and your staff the confidence to safely train anyone, anywhere, at any time.
“No matter how expert you may be, well-designed checklists can improve outcomes.” - Steven Levitt
What others are saying...
"This product will shift your thinking of how coaching is done. By setting up standards, you empower both your staff and clients to work towards a common goal. The guess work of where to go next is eliminated as both the staff and members know what expectations should be met in advance. The checklists set up a step by step guide on how to achieve those expectations and allow the individual to work through them at their own pace. This is a great way to systematize the training process so that everyone sees success. I can' t wait to implement this with our staff!"
- Drew Massey of Game Time Sports & Training
"The best investment you can make is in yourself. The more you learn, the more you'll earn." - Warren Buffett
